Do you ever get that feeling of a tightness in your chest? Maybe you've had it when you've had to present something in front of people. Or on the happier side when you've felt affection. Like butterflies in your stomach. Well people like me don't just have those silly little butterflies in our stomach. No, we have dangerous, killing, suffocating butterflies. Butterflies that can cause pain and discomfort. When we feel "Butterflies in our stomach" it's a sign of the end. It could feel as if those butterflies are pushing their way up through your stomach and to your throat. Fluttering about for a while in your chest too. Cramping up your diaphragm. Taking up as much space available in your ribcage. Suffocating you're lungs till you feel as if you can't breath anymore. These "Butterflies in our stomachs" are nothing but deadly to us. These butterflies come out to do this all frequently. No, not when it's understandable to come out, but just when they feel like it. Especially when there's no reason. These butterflies have been deemed "Anxiety" by doctors. Just like there are many different types of butterflies, there are many different types of anxietys. For example: My anxiety type. I have social anxiety. What does this mean? Well the definition is: "The fear of social situations that involve interaction with other people. You could say social anxiety is the fear and anxiety of being negatively judged and evaluated by other people. It is a pervasive disorder and causes anxiety and fear in most all areas of a person's life." These next couple of chapters will basically be me writing down my encounters with my anxiety. Hopefully you will learn something from these stories.
